Rackley Swimming has 20 swim schools in South East Queensland. Our friendly, qualified staff are passionate about teaching children to develop the necessary skills and confidence they need to be safe in and around the water. The Learn To Swim program caters for all ages from two months.

The Safer Start level is a discovery phase. Learn how early years swimming can teach your child to be safe in the water and also help them to achieve learning milestones sooner.
Introduce your child to the water from 2 months, with these free group classes.
This level encourages and educates both child and parent on the basics of water safety through activities and games.
Your child will continue to explore the water and develop confidence with mum or dad in the water through a series of fun activities and games.
Preparing children to graduate into a level without mum or dad, continuing with more advanced activites and games.
The New Start program is an introduction for children who have not had swimming classes before. Your child will learn the basics of swimming and be prepared for the Safer Kids program.

The Safer Kids level begins to teach children essential paddling and water safety skills in a fun and engaging way.
With no parents in the pool, children will be introduced to key foundation activities to build their swimming techniques.
Children develop a basic freestyle arm action and a strong kick.
Children will begin to develop a natural breathing pattern, freestyle and backstroke skills.
Children continue to develop their backstroke and freestyle, as well as introduce breaststroke kick and dolphin kick.
As your child progresses to Safer Swimmers, they’ll develop their strokes to ensure children know how to swim efficiently with the correct technique.
Enhancing breaststroke kick and dolphin kick, as well as introducing the basic butterfly arm action.
Students develop endurance and continue to enhance their swimming skills in all four competitive strokes.
All strokes are developed and swimmers are introduced to lap swimming and lane etiquette to prepare them for the transition into squad swimming.
Students are swimming laps and have learned lane etiquette, lesson length is increaded to increase swimmers endurance.
